ParkRun Vilnius Growing Strong!

📸 This Saturday I volunteered as a photographer at ParkRun Vingis, and it’s always a pleasure to see the projects you’ve helped build continue to grow and prosper.

This time, the event was extra special — our second-biggest turnout yet with 200+ participants from all over the world running together in Vilnius.

Looking back, it’s incredible to see how far we’ve come. In January 2023, our team sent the initial pitch deck to the ParkRun founders. By May 18, 2024, we officially launched ParkRun Vilnius — the first official ParkRun in the Baltic States. Since then, we’ve hosted 50+ events, every Saturday at 9 AM without pause.

The impact goes beyond running — these events have generated over €1M in economic inflow for Lithuania, as tourists choose Vilnius specifically for ParkRun. A great example of how community initiatives can also drive real business and cultural value.

Now, I’m excited 🚀 to see the ecosystem expand in Q4 2025, with Kaunas, Klaipėda, and Panevėžys set to join the ParkRun family.
