After two days of deep discussions, workshops, and networking, I’m leaving with insights that will shape how I see the future of finance, compliance, and technology. Here are the highlights from CV Summit Zurich 2025 Day 2:
1️⃣ Switzerland’s role in global finance

Heinz Tännler, Member of the Zug Cantonal Government and Director of Finance, shared how Switzerland is positioning itself to become the first European country to push for lifting regulatory barriers, enabling crypto to be fully integrated alongside traditional asset classes. A bold move that could reshape the entire financial landscape.
2️⃣ Inside Luzerner Kantonalbank crypto product journey

I had the privilege of attending Luzerner Kantonalbank’s workshop, walking through the real steps of launching crypto products for customers — from compliance to product design. The knowledge shared was extremely valuable (too valuable to reveal fully here 😉). But if you’re curious about how such an integration could work in your institution — let’s connect and discuss.
A special thank you to Martin Meier, Fabian Ludi and Manuel Steinmann for their time and guidance.
3️⃣ Caffeine by DFINITY Foundation: building on blockchain made simple

The live presentation of Caffeine was nothing short of groundbreaking. Think of it as a ChatGPT-style interface — but instead of giving you text answers, it instantly produces fully working code.
Within minutes, it can generate a unique website, mobile version, and even an admin panel. On stage, an entire website was created in just 5 minutes. Now imagine what could be done in 8 hours of focused use — entire platforms, applications, ecosystems.
I tested it myself at their booth, and it’s truly one of the most exciting breakthroughs I’ve seen — making blockchain development accessible at scale, while inevitably disrupting many roles in the industry. I can’t wait to gain early access to start building. Huge thanks to Dominic Williams ∞, Founder & Chief Scientist, for his insightful answer to my question in front of hundreds in the audience.
4️⃣ The reality of confidentiality

A powerful panel on role of confidentiality left me convinced that, as Samir Aliyev (Swiss Cyber Institute) put it, “privacy will no longer exist in the next 5–10 years.” Hard truth — but one we may all have to adapt to. (Open to debate — feel free to challenge me in the comments.)
5️⃣ Banking 3.0 — vision or reality?

In a closed-door workshop, we debated whether institutions are ready to leap into “Banking 3.0” after spending billions on migrating to 2.0/cloud systems. I remain skeptical about near-term adoption, but see the long-term vision as inevitable. Looking forward to diving deeper into their book Digital Asset Services in Banking when it arrives.
👉 That wraps up my Day 2 recap. I am ready for what's next!
