Context & Role

As lead Business Analyst, I bridged business and technical teams to deliver ERP enhancements that improved efficiency, visibility, and decision-making at Allianz SE.

In 2019, Allianz SE faced increasing pressure to optimize business processes and strengthen operational efficiency across its global operations. The existing Oracle-based ERP system had been heavily customized over the years, creating complexity, inefficiencies, and integration barriers with other applications. To remain competitive and enable more data-driven decision-making, Allianz launched an ERP Enhancements Project to streamline workflows, improve reporting, and unlock greater visibility across departments.

I joined the initiative as the lead Business Analyst, responsible for driving requirements gathering, stakeholder alignment, and solution design across multiple functional areas. Operating remotely, I facilitated workshops with business users, collaborated with IT teams and solution architects, and partnered with QA teams to ensure stability and adoption of the new capabilities. My role extended beyond analysis — I also managed prioritization under tight deadlines, led change management strategies, and provided training and user support to drive adoption. Ultimately, I acted as the bridge between business needs and technical delivery, ensuring Allianz translated complex requirements into actionable solutions with measurable impact.
